JJI - EXILE BROTHERS
band group

JJI are three young brothers from a simple tibetan family - one of many that settled in the town of McLeod Ganj after ascaping Tibet in 1959 following the brutal invasion of the Red Chinese. A part of the second generation of refugees born in exile, their music expresses the frustrations of life in exile and the hope that some day our people will be free. The song "Nga Tso La Lungpa Mindoo" meaning "We Don't Have a Country" in the film SEEDS is by the JJI brothers from there first album "Exile Brothers".
